Aside from the fact that we utilize unique and artisan flavour combinations and are based in an area with rich, hemp agricultural history, we also add hemp seed oil to every batch! The benefit? Well in addition to hemp’s incredible sustainability; hemp, and hemp seeds, in particular are power-packed with nutrients and benefits.

Why Hemp Seeds?

In an age where consumers are looking for “free from” foods and ingredients (gluten free, dairy free, GMO-free, etc.) but also want increased of added nutritional values or benefits, hemp seeds hit the mark.

Packed with Vitamins and Nutrients.

Rich in Vitamin E, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Potassium and a good source of B-Vitamins, Niacin, Thiamine, Riboflavin, and Folate; these small, brown seeds are known for their rich values of fatty acids, proteins, and fiber.

They contain double the protein per serving as other “superfoods” like chia and flax and only a fraction of the carbohydrates.

Packed with Amino-Acids.

Hemp seeds are also a “complete plant-protein” source meaning that they contain all nine-essential amino-acids which are imperative for your body’s growth, development, and repair.

Composed of approximately 70% fat, the Omega-3’s in hemp seed are off the charts. When the seeds are pressed and an oil is extracted, the result is hemp seed oil which contains approximately 12g of fat.
